Visiting hours

Visiting restrictions

Visiting is restricted in all areas of the hospital, this is due to increased cases of flu, because of this, until further notice, visiting hours have been restricted to:

  • 5.30pm to 8pm

Children (as visitors)

Do not bring children under age 12, unless patients are critically ill or near the end of their life. Contact the hospital to arrange a visit.

Protect yourself and others

Do not visit a hospital if you have any symptoms of cold, flu, COVID-19, or any viral illness.

Clean your hands regularly and use hand sanitiser

You may be asked to wear a face mask and PPE in parts of the hospital.

Parking

The main public car parks are at the front of the hospital. A small number of parking spaces are available at the rear of the hospital.

There is prepaid parking in place.

Your vehicle may be clamped if you:

  • park in the wrong car park
  • do not pay the correct amount for parking

The Outpatients Department has a drop-off zone for patients that have difficulty moving.

The Quality and Safety team acts as a point of contact between patients, their families or carers, and the hospital. We value feedback to allow us to learn from patient and family experience.

If you have concerns about your care, you or a family member are receiving while an inpatient, please speak to the Clinical Nurse Manager on the ward. They can help with your concerns quickly.

The Quality and Safety team work on ways to improve the patient experience by listening and responding to what matters to our patients. We follow the Your Service Your Say Policy (YSYS).

Enquiries about appointments should be made via the contact details in your appointment letter.

Pastoral care

The hospital oratory is near the coffee shop. It is open all day for everyone.

Communion service is available on:

  • Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 1.05pm
  • Saturdays at 7.15pm
  • Sundays at 10 and 11pm

Ask the nursing staff if you would like to see the chaplain, or a minister of your own church or faith.
