Dietitians are qualified and regulated Health Professionals that assess, diagnose and treat dietary and nutritional problems. They use the most up to date public health and scientific research on food, nutrition, health and disease which they translate into practical guidance to enable people make appropriate lifestyle choices to address nutritional problems. Paediatric Referral Types (1) Faltering Growth (2) Coeliac disease (3) Feeding Issues in < 12 month old infants e.g.constipation, weaning , weight management, suspected lactose intolerance (4) Non IgE mediated Cow's Milk Protein Allergy (5) Diagnosed Nutritional Deficiencies (6) Non acute Gastro intestinal issues in > 12months (7) Weight Management in > 12month olds (8) Fussy Eating. Full referral acceptance and non acceptance criteria available on request.
