Radiology

Radiology is a branch of medicine that uses medical imaging to diagnosis diseases and injuries. The radiology department provides services including x-rays, ultrasound and computed tomography. Mammogram

A mammogram is an x-ray of the breast and is often used to look for early signs of breast cancer. Your breasts will be x-rayed one at a time. The breast is placed on the x-ray machine and gently but firmly compressed with a clear plate. Two x-rays are taken of each breast from different angles. The mammogram itself takes only a few moments to complete.
