Patient Advocacy Liaison Service (PALS)
The Patient Advocacy and Liaison Service (PALS) team acts as a point of contact between patients, their families or carers and the hospital. If you have concerns about any aspect of your care or service in University Hospital Limerick, we advise you to speak to the person in charge of the area as they are best placed to address your concerns as quickly as possible.
If you feel that your concerns have not been addressed or if you would like the support of an advocate, the PALS team can assist you. The PALS team works on initiatives and ways to improve the patient experience by listening and responding to what matters to our patients. PALS also helps support those who are most vulnerable throughout their hospital experience.
