Virtual Wards support patients in receiving care, monitoring and treatment in their own home. This is possible because of technology. You will stay under the care of the hospital team while you are a patient in a Virtual Ward. Your care team may suggest Virtual Ward care to you if you are in hospital with certain cardiovascular and respiratory conditions and if our care team feels that your condition can be safely managed at home with the help of remote monitoring.
