Your care team may suggest virtual ward care to you if you are in hospital with certain conditions and if they feel your condition can be safely managed at home with the help of remote monitoring. Virtual ward care may be suitable for patients with: cardiovascular conditions; respiratory conditions; general medical; general surgery and gynaecological; orthopaedic recovery; palpitations; shoulder arthroplasty recovery. Your care team will assess your individual needs and determine whether virtual ward care is appropriate for you.
