Podiatry or podiatric medicine is the study, diagnosis and medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle and lower extremity. We treat active foot disease from complications of diabetes and peripheral vascular disease.
Podiatry
Podiatry service is available at the Orthopaedic Outpatient clinic providing a service for the patient with diabetic foot ulcers as part of their overall treatment plan. New patients referred from their GP/consultant are assessed and treated in the outpatients clinics. Review patients are seen post operatively.
