Parking is available for patients and visitors at the front and rear of the main hospital. Disabled parking facilities are located close to the main entrances of the main hospital, the Outpatients Department and the Urgent Care Centre. Spaces for older persons and/or those with mobility issues are also available in designated green spaces.
Car parking is free on the hospital grounds. Additional public parking is available at Hyde Park GAA Centre in Roscommon, which is a short walk from the main hospital. This parking is also free.

Please do not visit a patient in the hospital if you are feeling unwell. If you have symptoms like a sore throat, cough, temperature or shortness of breath please do not visit the hospital to help keep vulnerable patients safe.
Important information- there is limited visits in outbreak wards.
If the hospital is managing an infectious outbreak on a ward then access to visitors will be limited to protect patients and visitors.
Visitors need to follow public health guidance and use hand sanitiser regularly during their visit to the hospital. Face masks are available throughout the hospital.

The hospital restaurant is open to staff, patients and visitors. There are a range of choices including carvery, healthy options, salad bar, sandwiches, as well as a choice of hot and cold beverages. Ethnic, cultural and vegetarian requirements are catered for. The restaurant is located on the ground floor. Opening hours are 8am to 4.30pm.
The shop is located on the ground floor of the hospital. The shop provides tea/coffee, snacks and sandwiches as well as newspapers, magazines and toiletries.
Open Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 3.30pm.
A Chaplaincy Service is available to all patients.
Patient Advocacy Liaison Service (PALS)
Patient Advocacy Liaison Services are available at Roscommon University Hospital. Phone the hospital on 090 662 6200 or ask any member of staff if you wish to speak wth a PALS officer.
Patients should phone the number on the back of their invoice to make a payment.
All our hospitals are smoke-free campuses. Smoking is not allowed throughout the hospital and the hospital grounds.
