Parking

Car parking at Ennis Hospital is free of charge. The car park is located at the front of the hospital.

Visiting Hours

Visitors are welcome daily from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 9pm. Visitors must use our online booking system to book a visit. Ward staff will help with any queries you may have about your booking. Two visitors per patient per day are permitted.

Visiting arrangements are kept under review and updated in line with Infection Prevention and Control Guidelines.

Transport

The bus and train station is located on station road. It is about 25 mins walk from the hospital. Bus service 343 serves Ennis, Shannon and Limerick bus stations. Taxis are available at the station. Our reception staff can call a taxi for you.

Restaurants

Our hospital canteen is open to visitors.

Vending Machines

Vending machines are located in the Injury Unit.

Shop

Our closest shop is outside of the hospital grounds across the road.

Pharmacy

There is no pharmacy in the hospital.

ATM

The nearest ATM is across the road from the hospital.

Internet Access

There is no WiFi available at the hospital.

Pastoral Care

Chapel

The hospital chapel is on the ground floor of the hospital. The chapel is open until 9pm. The chapel can be opened by request after 9pm. Please contact reception.

Patient Advocacy Liaison Service (PALS)

The Patient Advocacy and Liaison Service (PALS) team acts as a point of contact between patients, their families or carers and the hospital. If you have concerns about any aspect of your care or service in Ennis Hospital, we advise you to speak to the person in charge of the area as they are best placed to address your concerns as quickly as possible. If you feel that your concerns have not been addressed or if you would like the support of an advocate the PALS team can assist you.

The PALS team work on initiatives and ways to improve the patient experience by listening and responding to what matters to our patients.

Payment Information

You can pay your bill over the phone, by post or in person at the patient accounts office. The office is open 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Directions: Enter the main entrance of the hospital. Turn right after reception. Turn left after admissions office. Enter X-ray waiting room and Patient Accounts is in front of you. Press buzzer to gain access.
