Parking
Parking is available on site. Car parking at Croom Orthopaedic Hospital is free of charge.
Visiting hours
Visitors are welcome daily from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 9pm. Visitors must use our online booking system to book a visit. Ward staff will help with any queries you may have about your booking. Two visitors per patient per day are permitted.
Visiting arrangements are kept under review and updated in line with Infection Prevention and Control Guidelines.
Restaurants
The canteen is open to visitors.
Vending machines
A vending machine is located on the ground floor on entrance to the main hospital. There is also a vending machine located in the dining room.
Transport
Bus route 320 (Limerick-Charleville) serves Croom. It stops at the Garda Station which is about 850m from the hospital. If you need to book a taxi from the hospital, ask a member of staff.
Shop
The nearest newsagent is the Spar Foodstore, Main Street, Croom.
Pharmacy
There is no pharmacy in Croom Orthopaedic Hospital. Services are provided by UHL Pharmacy. Pharmacies are available in village of Croom and also in the Primary Care unit next door to the Hospital.
ATM
The nearest ATM is located in the Spar Foodstore, Main Street, Croom.
Internet Access
There is no WiFi available at the hospital.
Chapel
Currently closed due to COVID-19.
Patient Advocacy Liaison Service (PALS)
The Patient Advocacy and Liaison Service (PALS) team acts as a point of contact between patients, their families or carers and the hospital. If you have concerns about any aspect of your care or service in Nenagh Hospital, we advise you to speak to the person in charge of the area as they are best placed to address your concerns as quickly as possible.
If you feel that your concerns have not been addressed or if you would like the support of an advocate the PALS team can assist you. The PALS team work on initiatives and ways to improve the patient experience by listening and responding to what matters to our patients.

Payment information
You can pay your bill over the phone, by post or in person at the patient accounts office. The office is open Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 4.30pm.
Directions: The Patients Accounts Office is in the Admin Building at the back of the Hospital.
