Protect yourself and others

Do not visit a hospital if you have any symptoms of cold, flu, COVID-19, or any viral illness.

Clean your hands regularly and use hand sanitiser

You may be asked to wear a face mask and PPE in parts of the hospital.

The hospital is the second-last stop on the Luas Red Line.

There is an information screen in the main atrium with times for the Luas stop.

By taxi

A taxi from Dublin city centre to the hospital costs around €30.

There is a multi-storey car park at the hospital. It is run by a private company.

Parking charges are:

• €2.50 up to 1 hour
• €5.00 for 1 to 2 hours
• €7.50 for 2 to 3 hours
• €10.00 for more than 3 hours

There is a maximum charge of €10 a day.

A flexible day pass is €12.50. You can enter and exit the car park many times.

An entry pass is €25. You can use the pass 6 times in 3 months.

The hospital chapel is on the ground floor.

The members of the ecumenical pastoral care team are chaplains from 4 Christian traditions. A nurse on duty can make contact with a chaplain for you.

We also liaise with leaders of Jewish, Islamic, Buddhist, Hindu and other faiths.

Roman Catholic Ministers of the Eucharist visit the wards:

• after 10am mass on Sundays
• around 10.30am on Wednesdays
• around 10.30am on Fridays

Mass services and liturgies in the hospital chapel

Sundays

Mass for staff members is at 8.15am. Holy Communion is at 9.30am. Mass, followed by the Sacrament of the Sick, is at 10.30am.

Monday to Friday

Celebration of Mass is at 1.30pm. Sacraments for different traditions are available on request.

Muslim prayer is on Friday, from 1.30pm to 2pm in the Quiet Room.
