HSE Account

You can access your health information in 2 ways:

  • through the 'HSE Account' on hse.ie
  • through the 'HSE Health App' on your phone

Using the HSE Account

The HSE Account allows you to access most of the features of the HSE Health App using a web browser. You can use a computer, tablet or mobile phone to use the HSE account.

Logging in

To access your information, you must log in using a verified MyGovID.

This confirms your identity and helps prevent other people from accessing your health information.

Why we use MyGovID

You use the same MyGovID to log in to the HSE Health App.

If you do not have one, you will need to set up MyGovID.

Access the same information using the HSE Health App on your mobile device.

What you can access

If you log in to the HSE Account or the HSE Health App, you can see your health information, including:

  • some appointments and information about them
  • your health information including COVID-19 and flu vaccine records
  • your health cards

Some features are only available in the HSE Health App, such as:

  • push notifications about your appointments
  • adding appointments to your calendar
  • help taking up physical activity with the 'Get Active' plan

In the app, you can also log in using your fingerprint or Face ID.
