Clinical nutrition and dietetics work with people who are nutritionally at risk because they are unwell and/or undergoing treatment that affects their nutritional status and their ability to eat.
Inadequate nutritional intake
High risk of malnutrition based on one or more of following: validated nutritional screening tool (e.g. MUST, MNA); unintentional weight loss of 5 - 10% in previous 3-6 months 3. BMI < 18.5kg/m2; oral nutritional supplement use; dysphagia requiring modified consistency diet- referral must include a recent Speech and Language Therapy report; tissue viability/wound management (not vascular ulceration)- referral to include wound type/grade.

Check in at the primary care reception on the first floor (lifts available). Take a seat in the waiting area. The receptionist will notify the relevant therapy of your arrival and a member of staff will meet you and direct you to the appropriate room for your appointment.
