Nutrition and Dietetics
The Community Nutrition and Dietetic service is a community based service that aims to improve the nutritional status of the population of Laois/Offaly. This is achieved via a combination of clinical work and health promotion activities.
Dietetics Services
Dietetics Services assess, diagnose and treat dietary and nutritional problems. They use the most up to date public health and scientific research on food, health and disease which they translate into practical guidance to enable people make appropriate lifestyle choices and nutritional problems. They work in the Community, with sick and healthy people in a variety of settings.
