Registered advanced midwife Practitioner (RAMP) Diabetes led service, encompasses diabetes care of women during pregnancy, labour, and the postpartum period.
Diabetes in pregnancy service
Diabetes in pregnancy service provides diabetes care to women with gestational diabetes from diagnosis until discharge home from hospital and women with Type 1 or 2 diabetes, maturity onset diabetes of the young (MODY), latent autoimmune diabetes in adults (LADA) in pregnancy and until 6 weeks post delivery. The service is provided using virtual platforms and face to face clinics.

Referral information
Referral letter to include name, date of birth, address, LMP, clinical diagnosis, medical history, surgical history, list of co-existing medical conditions, list of comorbidities, list of any past/current mental health issues, list of other medical or surgical services the patient is attending, list of current medications.

Main clinic UMHL - proceed through the front door, take the first right through double doors, proceed past the shop, take the stairs going down and continue straight at the end of the stairs and straight down the corridor to the end.
