Birth After Caesarean (BAC) Clinic
The Birth After Caesarean (BAC) Clinic at UMHL supports women with one previous caesarean section, offering continuity of care from a dedicated advanced practice midwife throughout pregnancy. The clinic runs every Friday morning, with 30-minute one-to-one appointments focused on holistic assessment, baby’s wellbeing, and informed, supported decision-making around birth options. The service works in partnership with each woman and her family, with input from the wider multidisciplinary team as needed.
