The Mid Western Cancer Centre at University Hospital Limerick is one of the eight designated cancer centres in the country. Our team is dedicated to providing high quality care to patients with a cancer diagnosis. The service provides comprehensive treatments in radiotherapy, chemotherapy and supportive care of patients diagnosed with cancer using a multi-disciplinary approach.
Rapid access lung clinic
The rapid access lung clinic is a consultant-led service for patients who require urgent assessment or diagnosis based on their doctor's referral. It generally includes diagnostic tests and consultation on the same day.
