The Mid Western Cancer Centre at University Hospital Limerick is one of the eight designated cancer centres in the country. Our team is dedicated to providing high quality care to patients with a cancer diagnosis. The service provides comprehensive treatments in radiotherapy, chemotherapy and supportive care of patients diagnosed with cancer using a multi-disciplinary approach.
Medical oncology clinic
The medical oncology clinic provides comprehensive care for patients with cancer, offering advanced diagnostic evaluations, individualised treatment plans including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies, as well as supportive care services to manage symptoms and improve quality of life. Our multidisciplinary team collaborates to ensure personalised, evidence-based care aimed at achieving the best possible outcomes for each patient.
