Pre-assessment
A pre-op assessment is carried out on all patients who are scheduled to have an operation or surgical procedure prior to admission.
Pre-operative assessment service
Prior to undergoing elective orthopaedic procedures, patients attend pre-operative assessment unit or have a phone triage pre-operative assessment.
