Visiting

Visiting times are:

• 2pm to 4pm
• 6pm to 8pm

Visiting times for the critical care department are:

• 3pm to 4pm
• 6pm to 8pm

Maternity unit

Visit times are:

• 6pm to 8pm

Support partners can visit during the day, but not at rest time.

Paediatric (children’s) unit

One parent or relative must stay with a child at all times when they are being admitted.

Emergency department

There is no visiting in the emergency department. In some cases, 1 person may accompany the patient. One parent or relative must accompany a patient under age 16.

Protect yourself and others

Do not visit a hospital if you have any symptoms of cold, flu, COVID-19, or any viral illness.

Clean your hands regularly and use hand sanitiser

You may be asked to wear a face mask and PPE in parts of the hospital.

Parking is available on the hospital grounds.

Public parking spaces are available in the main car park. There is a charge.

Disabled parking spaces are reserved for permit holders.

There are:

• age-friendly parking spaces available
• parking spaces for patients attending the Physiotherapy Department

There are 2 pay machines on the hospital grounds. You can also use contactless payment at the barriers when exiting. A weekly pass is available from the Cash Office.

There are a small number of set-down spaces close to the front door. These are for emergencies, or for collecting patients or babies when they are discharged from the hospital.
