Appointments are offered for specialist bloods. Walk-in service for those requiring bloods in advance of attending an outpatients clinic appointment.
About Phlebotomy (Blood testing)
Phlebotomy (Blood testing) is a walk-in service for patients attending main outpatient appointments. Phlebotomy is by appointment only for specialist in-house bloods referred by GP or Consultant in UL Hospitals Group only. Request form with blood tests required must be provided.

Who needs to refer you: Referral by consulting Doctor or Nurse Practitioner for those attending face-to-face or virtual clinics in main Outpatients only. Referral by GP or Consultant for specialist blood testing.

We may ask you to:
- attend a virtual clinic
- wear a face mask/other PPE
- complete a COVID-19 questionnaire by phone before coming to hospital and to repeat same on arrival
