Occupational therapy

Occupational therapy aims to improve people's ability to do everyday tasks if they're having difficulties. It can help you with practical tasks if you are recovering from an illness or operation. Occupational therapists can look at all aspects of daily life in your home, school or workplace. They look at activities you find difficult and see if there's another way you can do it.

The North Wicklow Memory Technology Resource Room (MTRR)

The Memory Technology and Resource Suite is for people who would like to know more about products and devices that can manage memory difficulties. It is also a resource for staff working with or caring for people with memory difficulties or dementia. The HSE Memory Technology and Resource Suite is set up like a mini apartment to allow people with memory difficulties see and try a range of products to make independent living easier. The MTRR is run by an experienced occupational therapist and is located in St Columcille's Hospital, Loghlinstown Co Dublin. The buses 145 and 84A stop outside the building.

Referrals and Appointments

Internal directions

Check in at the primary care reception on the first floor (lifts available). Take a seat in the waiting area. The receptionist will notify the relevant therapy of your arrival and a member of staff will meet you and direct you to the appropriate room for your appointment.
