Physiotherapy Adult Neurology Service
Primary Care Physiotherapy Services in North Wicklow CH East offers a clinic based out-patient service to clients living in the North Wicklow CHN7 catchment area based on referral and clinical prioritisation. This limited service is provided for patients presenting with neurological disorders. The service incorporates provision of home exercise programmes, education re self-management, equipment provision (e.g. rollator frame, drop-foot splints) and social and carer support. No specialist neurology physiotherapy service is available in Wicklow Physiotherapy Primary Care. Neurology service provides short-term intervention only with review as appropriate. On-going long-term rehab services are not provided.
