The Mid Western Cancer Centre at University Hospital Limerick is one of the 8 designated cancer centres in the country. Our team is dedicated to providing high quality care to patients with a cancer diagnosis. The service provides comprehensive treatments in radiotherapy, chemotherapy and supportive care of patients diagnosed with cancer using a multi-disciplinary approach.

Palliative Care

The Palliative Care department provides specialised care and pain management for terminally ill patients, focusing on enhancing quality of life by addressing physical and emotional needs. Our team works collaboratively to offer compassionate support, symptom relief, and holistic care tailored to each patient's unique situation and preferences.
