Muhammad Shazad Javid

Biography

Mr. Muhammad Shahzad Javid MBBS, FCPS (Pak), FRCS (Glasg), and Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery (France) is a Consultant General and Minimal Access Surgeon and a dedicated medical educator. He is qualified in both General Surgery and Oncoplastic Breast Surgery and is registered as a specialist in Ireland and Pakistan. He has more than 15 years of experience in general, laparoscopic, and breast surgery and is known for his skill, leadership, and innovation.
He completed his MBBS in Pakistan and went on to advanced surgical training through MRCS and FCPS. He later achieved FRCS (General surgery with SI in Colorectal Surgery) from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and earned a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery from the University of Strasbourg in France. He also holds FEBS (Breast surgery)
Mr. Javid performs a wide range of procedures, including complex laparoscopic operations, emergency surgery, and breast reconstruction. He is experienced in minimally invasive surgery and endoscopy. He has developed laparoscopic training modules and helped create an atlas for minimally invasive surgery.
He is committed to patient safety and improving standards of care. He has led many quality improvement projects and audits. For more than a decade, he has been active in medical education as a trainer, examiner, and workshop facilitator in both Pakistan and Ireland. He has published research in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences. He has also worked on innovative projects such as robotic surgical simulation and telemedicine programmes to improve access to care in underserved areas.
Mr. Javid is a member of the European Association of Endoscopic Surgery and the Association of Breast Surgery UK. He remains dedicated to surgical training, research, and delivering safe, patient-centred care.
