Maidir leis an tseirbhís seo
Women experiencing complications in early pregnancy are seen following referral from their GP or from the Emergency Room at CUMH. Appointments are prioritised based on the amount of bleeding, gestational age, and the clinical findings from your doctor’s examination. We encourage you to attend with the support of a partner, relative, or close friend where possible. However, due to limited space in the waiting area and scan rooms, only one support person may accompany you. In line with hospital policy, children should not be brought to the clinic. In some cases, it may not be possible to confirm a diagnosis at a single visit. Follow‑up ultrasound scans and/or blood tests may be required over several days or weeks until a safe and definitive diagnosis is made.
