For information on abortion services and counselling, our phoneline is open:

  • Monday to Thursday: 9am to 8pm
  • Friday: 9am to 7pm
  • Saturday: 10am to 2pm

Medical support from an experienced nurse is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If you phone outside our opening times or our phone lines are busy, you can leave a message.

One of our staff members will phone you back during opening times. We will return your call within 24 hours.

Webchat

You can contact us by webchat.

During your webchat we will ask you for your phone number if you need:

  • contact details of GPs who provide abortion services
  • medical advice from our nursing team

This is so we can call you back with the information you need.

This service helps people who are deaf, hard-of-hearing or speech-impaired to make and receive calls independently.

If you do not speak English

If you do not speak English, we can provide you with an interpreter. They will help you speak to a member of staff over the telephone in your own language.

We can provide an interpreter for 240 different languages. This service is free and confidential.

If you would like to speak to a member of staff using an interpreter, call us on freephone 1800 82 80 10.

You or someone on your behalf will need to:

  • tell us what language you speak
  • give us your phone number

An interpreter will phone you back for a 3-way call between:

  • you
  • a My Options staff member
  • the interpreter

Support for partners and family members

Unplanned pregnancy counselling is not just for someone who is pregnant.

Speaking with a counsellor can help if you are a partner or family member of someone who is pregnant.
