About Injury Unit
Injury Units are for the treatment of broken bones, dislocations, sprains, strains, wounds, scalds and minor burns that are unlikely to need admission to hospital. Our team of highly experienced doctors, Advanced Nurse Practitioners & nurses, radiographers & physiotherapists deliver expert care. They perform x-rays, reduce joint dislocations, apply plaster casts and treat wounds by stitches or other means.

Special instructions for patients during COVID19
We may ask you to:
- attend a virtual clinic
- wear a face mask/other PPE
- complete a COVID-19 questionnaire by phone before coming to hospital and to repeat same on arrival
- to wait in their car until closer to your appointment time
