Visiting restrictions

Visiting is restricted in some areas of the hospital. This is due to increased cases of flu.

Visiting to affected wards is limited to compassionate grounds only.

Before you visit, phone the hospital to check the visiting arrangements in place.

Get the flu vaccine and the COVID-19 vaccine to protect yourself and others.

Visiting in unaffected wards

Visiting times in wards unaffected by the outbreak are:

• 6.30pm to 8.30pm

Patients can have 2 visitors at a time.

Maternity unit

Support partners can visit from:

• 9am to 8pm

Protect yourself and others

Do not visit a hospital if you have any symptoms of cold, flu, COVID-19, or any viral illness.

Clean your hands regularly and use hand sanitiser

You may be asked to wear a face mask and PPE in parts of the hospital.

Local bus services stop outside the hospital.

Paid parking is available at the rear of the hospital.

A free shuttle bus runs from the car park to the main hospital entrance every 30 minutes. The bus operates from Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm. There is no bus on bank holidays.

The bus:

• picks up at a bus shelter in the main carpark
• drops off at the main entrance off The Mall

Allow 20 minutes before your appointment to park and get the shuttle bus to the hospital entrance.

Patient Advocacy Liaison Services (PALS) are available. If you would like to speak to a PALS officer, ask a member of staff or phone the hospital.
