Visiting times are:

  • 6pm to 7.30pm

Contact the hospital to arrange a visit outside these times.

Visitors are limited to:

  • parents visiting children
  • people assisting confused patients - for example, patients with dementia

Patients can have 2 visitors at a time.

Parents can visit the hospital at any time.

Please check with the hospital before you bring food with you.

Children (as visitors)

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult when visiting.

Do not visit a hospital if you have any symptoms of cold, flu, COVID-19, or any viral illness.

Clean your hands regularly and use hand sanitiser

You may be asked to wear a face mask and PPE in parts of the hospital.

Parking

There is no patient or visitor parking on hospital grounds.

There are set-down areas at the front door. A small amount of disabled parking spaces are available.

There is pay and display parking:

  • outside the hospital on Adelaide Road and Harcourt Terrace
  • on Fitzwilliam Place and Fitzwilliam Square

Hospital accounts must be paid on the day of discharge.

Self-paying patients booked to semi-private accommodation must pay before they are admitted.

Pastoral care

There is an oratory on the ground floor.

Catholic Mass is celebrated in the oratory on Sundays at 10.30am.

Clergy of different denominations visit the hospital regularly. If you wish to see 1 of them, ask the clinical nurse manager or a nurse in charge. They will arrange this for you.
