Visiting is restricted in some areas of the hospital, this is due to increased cases of flu.

Before you visit, phone the hospital to check if you need to arrange a visit.

If you have been unwell or experienced any symptoms of cold, flu, COVID-19, or any viral illness, you must wait for at least 48 hours after the symptoms have cleared up to visit the hospital.

Get the flu vaccine and the COVID-19 vaccine to protect yourself and others.

Visiting

Visiting times are:

  • 2.30pm to 4pm
  • 6.30pm to 8.30pm

Patients can have 2 visitors at a time.

Exceptional circumstances

Visits are allowed to patients who are critically ill or near the end of their life. Contact the hospital to arrange a visit.

Maternity unit

Support partners can visit from:

  • 9am to 8pm

Do not visit a hospital if you have any symptoms of cold, flu, COVID-19, or any viral illness.

Clean your hands regularly and use hand sanitiser

You may be asked to wear a face mask and PPE in parts of the hospital.

By cheque

You can pay by cheque in person, or you can post it to the hospital.

Cheques should be made payable to the Health Service Executive.

Write the patient’s hospital number and invoice number on the back of the cheque. Complete the remittance slip attached to the invoice.
