My Diabetes emails
When you sign up to the HSE My Diabetes emails you'll get an email every 1 to 2 weeks with information, facts and links about type 2 diabetes.
These emails have advice and support about the common treatments for diabetes, healthy eating, mental health and much more. Our HSE dietitian Didi will guide you in these emails with expert information that you can trust.

Free online education course
Diabetes Smart is a free short online course on type 2 diabetes. It is offered on the Diabetes Education website.
The Diabetes Smart course can help you start learning about how you can treat and manage type 2 diabetes.
The course lasts 55 minutes and has a series of short videos on topics such as:
- what is diabetes
- healthy eating
- physical activity
- medicines
- diabetes complications
It is a useful way to start understanding the condition and your key role in treating it. But it is still recommended to do a HSE diabetes support course as well.
