Martin Shelly

Biography

Dr. Shelly graduated with honours from University College Dublin in 2002. He completed his internship and basic surgical training at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Dublin. He became an intercollegiate member of the surgical Royal Colleges of Great Britain and Ireland in 2004. Thereafter, he commenced higher specialist training in diagnostic radiology in the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Dublin and was conferred Fellow of the Faculty of Radiologists, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2010.

Following completion of higher specialist training, Dr Shelly undertook 2 years of sub-specialist clinical fellowship training in abdominal imaging and interventional radiology in the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, Boston and was Chief Fellow in his second year. He was appointed Consultant Radiologist in HSE Mid West in 2015.
