Biography

Mr Mamoun Abdelraham, MB, BS, ChM, FRSc(Urol), Consultant Urological Surgeon graduated form the University of Khartoum in 2002. He did his internship and basic clinical training in Khartoum, Sudan, before moving to Ireland to pursue his surgical training. He was enrolled in the RCSI Basic Surgical Training followed by Basic Speciality Training in Urology. Going forward he rotated between some of the major Irish teaching hospitals to obtain the Higher Surgical Training in Urology starting in Limerick and moving on to Dublin and Cork. In 2015 Mr. Abdelrahman obtained his masters degree in Urology (ChM) from the University of Edinburgh. He obtained the Intercollegiate Fellowship in Urology in 2016 and qualified as a Urology Specialist in 2018. He then worked as senior fellow in the National Centre for Kidney Transplant in Beaumont Hospital where he did a period as a Consultant Urologist. Areas of interest include pelvic oncology, stones and paediatric urology.
