Biography
Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman stood 11th, higher secondary school examination which is equivalent to A level. He qualified from Dhaka Medical College in Bangladesh in 1983. Dr. Rahman came to Ireland in 1989 and received his membership from Royal College of Physicians in 1993. He started working as a locum consultant physician from 1996. Dr. Rahman worked as a temporary consultant physician in University Hospital Waterford, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda and Louth County Hospital. He now works at Ennis Hospital providing general medicine services and endocrinology services. Dr. Rahman also worked as a locum consultant in Letterkenny University Hospital, Cavan General Hospital, Monaghan Hospital, St. Luke’s General Hospital, Kilkenny Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan and many others.
