HSE app testing

The HSE is building an app which will make it easy for you to access your health information.

We are inviting people to help us test the first release of the app. Feedback from testing will help make the app better for everyone.

Who can take part?

To test the app you need to be 18 or older and have a verified MyGovID.

MyGovID is a secure account that you can use to access some government services. We use it to make sure that only you see your personal information.

What will I need to do?

We will send you an email with instructions to download the app to your phone. You will log in with MyGovID to view your personal health information including your:

  • hospital appointments, if you are a maternity patient
  • health cards like the EHIC or Medical Card
  • COVID-19 and flu vaccine records

You can share feedback on the app by filling out a form in the Help section of the app. You can volunteer to take part in an interview with a researcher.

How long will I have access to the app?

Volunteering to take part will give you early access to the HSE App. Your access will continue after the testing period is complete and the app is launched to the public.
