Proceed through the front door, take the first right through double doors, proceed past the shop, follow the corridor and there is signage and a bell located outside the department indicating Neonatal Unit. The UMHL Chaplaincy Service is located on the right inside the door in the Oratory area.

About Pastoral care/Chaplaincy
Obstetrics is the area of medicine concerned with pregnancy, the delivery of babies and the welfare of the mother. Consultant obstetricians work closely with midwives in all aspects of routine and complex antenatal care, care of the mother and baby during delivery, and post natal support.

Pastoral care/Chaplaincy offers a listening and supportive presence with the aim to care for the needs of the whole person. This is available to women and their families.
