Renal Medicine Nephrology

Renal medicine deals with the preservation of kidney health, dialysis and the treatment of kidney disease. The Renal Unit provides a full range of care for people with kidney disease.  A nephrologist is a medical doctor who specialises in kidney care and treating diseases of the kidneys. This may include dialysis, kidney transplant or conservative care. They will monitor your kidney function and help to manage any associated symptoms.
