Dr Nemer Osman
Dr. Osman is a Specialist Register in medical oncology in Ireland and in the United Kingdom. He is a fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians, Ireland 2016. He also has the following qualifications: Speciality Certificate Exam of Medical Oncology, Royal College of Physicians of UK, 2011 Diploma in Clinical Oncology, Birmingham University UK, Dec 2010 European Certificate in Medical Oncology, ESMO, Paris, October 2005 Certificate of Practice in Palliative Medicine, Dublin ICGP, 2006. Dr. Osman’s internship and residency were carried out in Khartoum Sudan. He finished his training in medical oncology in Ireland in 2010. He worked in St. James’s Hospital Dublin and The Adelaide and Meath Hospital. Dr. Osman has worked in University Hospital Limerick since June 2014. He is one of four Consultant Medical Oncologists. He is responsible for treating upper gastrointestinal, head and neck, sarcoma, 50 per cent lower gastrointestinal, prostate, neuroendocrine and high blood pressure. . He is licensed with the Irish Medical Council and the General Medical Council (GMC) of the United Kingdom. Dr. Osman has publications in several journals and actively participates in Clinical Trials Ireland. He is a member of the Cytotoxic Administration Group in University Hospital Limerick, a member of the Clinical Directorate Group in University Hospital Limerick and a member of Clinical Trial Ireland.
